Hello, my name is Nathan, though people sometimes call me Phong, very rarely Nathaniel.
I am currently a third year CE student at UCSC interested in designing computer chips and building robotic systems. I am planning to graduate early in 2026, complete my masters at UCSC by 2027 and hopefully do my PhD at Berkeley. Beyond my studies, I enjoy baking, creating clothes, swimming and basic frolicking.
Inside of school, I am participating in two competitions, SUAS (Student Unmanned Aerial Systems Competition) at Tulsa Oklahoma, and MATE ROV at St Johns, Canada. I am also an undergrad researcher in the HSC (Hardware Systems Collective) lab under Prof Dustin Richmond, mostly focusing on FPGA/ASIC applications for Computer Vision processing (blah blah tech buzzword ai slop). Feel free to read more about my projects on my website!
Outside of school you'll never find me because I am never outside of school.

automne 25 : CSE 225, CSE 121
hiver 26 : CSE 222A, CSE 127A, CSE 185E
printemps 26 : CSE 222B, CSE 127B, ECE 103/L
